Wave Mode calibration constant

The calibration constant for Sentinel-1 Wave Mode is the difference between the predicted Normalized Radar Cross Section (NRCS) and the one given by Sentinel-1A.

This NRCS value is function of surface rugosity (indirectly the wind/wave and currents), the polarization (HH or VV) and the incidence angle of the satellite.

The calibration constant is equal to zero when the satellite is calibrated.

Wave mode Wind bias

The wind bias is computed between oswWindSpeed values containded in Level2 netcdf files (one per imagette) and colocated ECMWF 0.125° forecast.
