Altiberg

Altiberg is a project funded by CNES in the aim to improve small icebergs detection using altimeters waveforms analysis.

A database of 20 years has been processed using seven altimeters (ers1, ers2, envisat, topex, jason1, jason2 and cryosat). The final products are annual maps of icebergs detections and surface distributions. It will be used to improve oceanographic models and lots of other applications.
